Ukraine’s Covid-19 update for foreigners.
There is no ban on entry to Ukraine for foreign citizens upon arrival. All foreign nationals are mandated to provide proof of health insurance that covers COVID-19 observations and treatment for the duration of their stay.
All foreign nationals, in addition to their health insurance, must have:
- Document confirming receipt of at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccination with WHO approved vaccines which Ukraine lists as Pfizer, AstraZeneca( Vaxzevria, Covishield & SKBio), Janssen, Moderna, Sinopharm, and CoronaVac or one of:
- Negative Rapid Antigen Test taken no more than 72 hours before entry. Or:
- Negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before Entry.
Rules for staying in any city in Ukraine
- Wear a face mask in Public places.
- Keep 1.5 m distance in Public buildings(Hotels, shops, and restaurants).
- You must carry ID with you at all times.
Quarantine in Ukraine
There are already 19 regions in the “orange” quarantine zone in Ukraine and only three in the “yellow” one as the Health Ministry reported.
Poltava, Kirovohrad, and Zaporizhia regions are in the “yellow” quarantine zone. Ivano-Frankivsk and Rivne regions are in the “red” zone.
