Is Ukraine safe for travellers? Well, from a foreigner’s point of view who has been living in Ukraine for more than ten years can confidently say that Kyiv, Lviv, the western and central Ukraine are safe destinations.
Although there is a simmering conflict along Ukraine’s eastern border since the beginning of November 2021, there has been significant media coverage of heightened tension between Russia and Ukraine however, western and central parts of Ukraine are very far from the conflict zone.

Perhaps the only noticeable result of the unrest near the Russian border is the drop in the value of Ukrainian currency against the dollar and Euro, these provide travellers with great value and bargain for pennies.
Ukraineinvites operates in the western part of Ukraine where travellers’ safety standards are put into consideration.
