The Colosseum

As we walk through the ancient ruins of the Roman Forum, we gain insight into Rome’s political and social history.

Day 2. Tivoli
But our journey doesn’t stop there. On day two, we venture to Tivoli, a charming town located just outside of Rome. Here, we explore the stunning Villa Gregoriana, Villa D’este and Villa Adriana, known for its magnificent gardens and beautiful fountains.
Day 3. Aventine Hill, Castel Sant Angelo, Villa Borghese, Spanish Steps
On our final day, we make our way to the enchanting Aventine Hill, where we can enjoy panoramic views of the city.
A visit to Castel Sant Angelo is a must, as it offers a glimpse into Rome’s fascinating past as a fortress and mausoleum.

Getting there
The Colosseum: The metro is the easiest, fastest and the most Convenient way to reach the Colosseum. Take the line B towards the Colosseo station. From Roma Termini, it takes only about 2 to 4 minutes to reach the Colosseum.
Tivoli: Cotral Company has a direct line connecting Rome to Tivoli. Buses leave from the metro station Ponte Mammolo (blue line B). There are frequent rides and the journey takes about 50 minutes. Tickets are really cheap too (about 2 euro).
The Spanish Steps: To reach the Spanish Steps, take the Metro Linea A (red line) and exit at the Spagna station, which is conveniently located right next to the attraction.
Vatican City: Another efficient way to get to the Vatican is by using the Rome Metro. If you take Metro line A, you can get off at the Ottaviano-S stop, which is situated right outside the walls of the Vatican. From there, it’s only a short five-minute stroll to reach the Vatican.
Villa Borghese: From Termini Station, Take Bus 910 and get off at Pinciana/Museo Borghese. Or take Bus 116 and get off at Galleria Borghese.
